I
became interested in still photography soon after graduating from The School of
Visual Arts in New York City where I majored in Film and also attended its
Photography School. Over 50 years I developed a diverse portfolio of
projects, including photographing country fairs, parades and marches in New
York City and New England. I’ve had the pleasure of working with actors,
models, sports figures, and entertainers from porn stars to cast members of
Saturday Night Live.
I’ve created more than 200 book covers for Simon and
Schuster, the New York Times Crossword Puzzle series, and murder mysteries from
folks like Carter Brown, Earl Stanley Gardner and Dick Frances.
In
2004, after having way too much fun in the Big Apple, I headed west for
Southern California where my passion turned to following the Car Culture, travel and food photography. I’ve
photographed 8 cookbooks and in between have traveled to Ethiopia, Myanmar, Gujarat, India, Romania and all throughout Mexico. I have visited Kolkata during the
Durga Puja Festival and Varanasi at the Dushera and Bharat Milap
Festivals.
I
am forever seeking new subjects, new experiences, ways to be happy, having fun
and being creative.
